We as a ministry carry each other’s burdens so that we can fulfill the law of Christ. We believe that every member needs encouragement, comfort, counsel and prayer in time of need.
About Us
Welcome to the Good Samaritan Ministry page of Beraca Baptist Church. The Good Samaritan Ministry was born out of a need to help those around us. The ministry was founded on the principals found in the story of the Good Samaritan. Our mission is to emulate the love of Christ as demonstrated through the Good Samaritan to our fellow brothers and sisters, especially the senior citizens in our church community and beyond. The ministry provides assistance through prayer, wellness visits, care packages, and language support during medical visits. Our prayer calls and ministry meetings are a time to connect with God and each other and share member and community updates and concerns.

WHERE WE BEGIN
Anyone who needs encouragement, comfort, or a sense of belonging are welcome. While that could include everyone, there are certain individuals who especially need to be reminded that they aren’t forgotten and loved.
WHY WE DO... WHAT WE DO
I. OUR MINISTRY WORK
- Provide spiritual comfort through prayer
- Praying for our (Youth, Young Adults, Adults, Everyone around the World)
- Offer material support to those in need.
- Teaching Christian Principles
- Visit the sick and the needy
- Support each family with the love of God
Visitation will come easier for some people than others. While we all should be visiting one another on occasion, especially in time of need, people with a more outgoing personality or with the gifts of hospitality, exhortation, and/or mercy will be more prone to make visitation a part of their regular ministry.

- we gather together to end the year with prayer and a time of fellowship.
- Ministry Meetings Weekly Prayer Calls
- We give a report of what the Lord has done through us.
- We also discuss ways in which we can become more efficient going forward.

- We ask for One Year commitment when join Ministry.

- Meeting and greeting with a warm and friendly smile to ensure all are welcome.
- Inviting a friend and provide directions and information as need of events.

- Our ministry is open to all those who feel led to serve other. In order to become a ministry member, you must be a member of the church.
