This support system is designed to give single parents a platform where they can not only be open and heard but even more importantly, where they can be understood. In implementing our faith-based values, encouraging fruitful communication and advocating for stability in family relationships, we want all single parents to be able to live healthy, rewarding, and effective Christian lives.

About Us

Welcome to the Single Parents’ Ministry page of Beraca Baptist Church. Beraca Baptist Church Single Parents’ Ministry is designed to give single parents a platform where they can not only be open and heard but even more importantly, where they can be understood. In implementing our faith-based values, encouraging fruitful communication and advocating for stability in family relationships, we want all single parents to be able to live healthy, rewarding, and effective Christian lives.

We gladly welcome women and men from BBC, our home base, as well as from the community, to labor, fellowship and socialize with us under the only true, one umbrella which is and forever will be Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Parents

 As a source of comfort, assistance and support for parents who are raising children by themselves. Parents who would fall under this ministry include:

Those who have never been married
Those who are widowers
Those who are divorced or legally separated
Those who are geographically apart from their significant other

We embrace and encourage all of these parents to unite with us while growing deeper in Christ in order to be the head of strong and effective Christian households whether with their biological children or with children placed under their guardianship.

WHERE WE BEGIN

In an effort to achieve good parenting skills and decrease the stress of “doing it all alone”…

I.  OUR MINISTRY WORK 

  • Pray Together

    our group prays together, learns Christian parenting principles, visits each other’s homes, support each family’s life events like talent shows, dance performances, graduations and any other social functions.

  • Bible Study
    • Learning Christian Principles  
  • Home Visitation/Supporting
    • Support each family’s life events Ex. Talents shows, dance performances, graduations, and other social functions.

FREQUENCY OF SERVICE

  • We meet every 1st Sunday, where we discuss various topics and pray with and for one another. Location at Beraca Baptist Church at 2: 30 pm.  

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT

  • We are very committed in serving our community and reaching every single men and women in Christ Jesus.
  • We ask for One Year commitment when join Ministry.  

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

  •  Meeting and greeting with a warm and friendly smile to ensure all are welcome.
  •  Inviting a friend and provide directions and information as need of events.
