We as a ministry are called to serve God in many ways, one way is by Serving. In Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
About Us
Welcome to the Ushers’ Ministry page of Beraca Baptist Church. Beraca Baptist Church Ushers Ministry is very dear to our heart, simply because we take pride in welcoming you and welcoming you with open arms. We love our church and our members. Our role in the church is to serve everyone coming to the church. An usher must display a servant’s heart. No matter how big or small the tasks is, the willingness to serve is what makes us stand out. An usher’s conduct should always reflect a gentle Godly spirit to all.

I. OUR MINISTRY WORK
- Welcoming & Ushering The Church Congregation
- Goers & Members to their seat (Youth, Young Adults, Adults, Everyone around the World) welcoming you with the love of Christ Jesus.
- Collecting tithes and offering
- “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” ~2 Corinthians 9:7
- Ensuring order at the entrance of the sanctuary
- “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints” ~ 1 Corinthians 14:33
- Distributing bulletins and service programs.
- Supporting & providing information to help assist and serve you in every way.
Volunteer
- In order to be an usher, the church policy is to complete classes 101 to 401 and be of good character.
- You must faithfully attend worship services on Friday and Sunday.
- An usher should always display a positive warm smile to everyone who enters through the doors of the church or anyone who may need assistance while on the church premises.

- We give a report of what the Lord has done through us.
- We also discuss ways in which we can become more efficient going forward.

- Friday Night Service
- Morning or Afternoon Service on Sundays.
- On special holidays; you may be needed for 3 or 4 services as per the schedule.

LENGTH OF COMMITMENT
- We are very committed in serving our church and community and reaching every men and women in Christ Jesus.
- We ask for One Year commitment when joining the ministry, except for unforeseen circumstances.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
- As an usher, one must be able to stand for long period of time.
- In case of an emergency, the ushers will take the lead in ensuring church goers get to safety in an orderly manner.
